, the 90s were fertile ground for mature, action packed superhero cartoons. Despite my decades long love of those crazy mutants, the Dark Knight's program featured 30 minute episodes that were like little movies unto themselves. And then when the same talented folks started making legit flicks(check out Mask of the Phantasm for a shining example), nobody could touch them. Marvel and all of it's crappy Avengers cartoons they'r cranking out ahead of the movie are pathetic by comparison.Well somebody else recognizes just how great BTAS was, and they've done something pretty damn cool. Using clips from the classic Warner Brothers series, they've fairly accurately recreated the teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, including all of the original audio. Pretty slick. [Youtube]
