Trailer Time: Margin Call, starring Kevin Spacey and Jeremy Irons

How interested are you in another movie about the financial crisis? They're like the new Iraq War movies. From Capitalism: A Love Story to Wall Street 2 to HBO's fantastic Too Big To Fail, they're everywhere. Even The Other Guys managed to make a running commentary on the situation last summer. Well there's one more on the way for those you who aren't sick of these flicks yet, and it's probably the most promising of the bunch. That film is Margin Call, which follows 24hrs at a large investment firm during the heart of the crash.

J.C. Chandor wrote the highly regarded script, and will be making his directorial debut as well. There are plenty of filmmakers who couldn't wrangle a cast as great as the one he gets to work with: Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore, Jeremy Irons, Paul Bettany, Zachary Quinto, Simon Baker, Penn Badgley, Mary McDonnell, Stanley Tucci, and that's just a part of it. Trailers for movies like this are hard to gauge, because it mostly amounts to people staring at computer screens and having wildly out of context conversations in the company bathroom. It hits theaters here on October 21st, so we won't have to wait long to see if this is a stock worth buying...
