Dave Franco joins Louis Leterrier's heist flick, Now You See Me

As much as I think Dave Franco is getting so much attention only because of his brother James, he deserves credit for making some smart choices in the movies he's taking. With Superbad, Milk, Greenberg, and the recent Fright Night remake under his belt, his early resume is more impressive than his brother's by far. And now the guy has gone ahead and hopped aboard the film I'm anticipating more than any other, Louis Leterrier's heist film, Now You See Me.

Already sporting a cast that includes Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Melanie Laurent, Woody Harrelson, and Morgan Freeman, the high concept flick chronicles a game of cat and mouse between a crack FBI squad and a superteam of illusionist bank robbers known as the Four Horsemen. Franco will play one of the Horsemen, who use their magic act as a cover for their crimes. Boaz Yakin and Ed Ricourt wrote the script.

Franco's pretty busy right now shooting another intriguing film, the zombie romance/comedy Warm Bodies from director Jonathan Levine(50/50). He'll be seen next in Jonah Hill's remake of 21 Jump Street. [Deadline]
