While attending Dream House yesterday, I got another look at the 4-minute long trailer for David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I think I undersold it a little bit on the site before, probably because I had just sat through the extended 8-minute version. It's amazing the amount of information packed in half the runtime, efficiently capturing the gloom of Stieg Larsson's novel and introducing us to the shady characters within.
Empire has a slew of new photos from the film, all of which capture the intensity beautifully, especially the provocative shot of Mikael Blomqvist(Daniel Craig) and Lisbeth Salander(Rooney Mara) sharing a moment of smoke-filled intimacy. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will hit theaters on December 2st, and also stars Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright, Embeth Davidtz, Christopher Plummer, and Joely Richardson. Enjoy...
