Movies about lifelong singles stepping awkwardly into parenthood have been done time and time again, but few have ever had quite the cast of Jennifer Westfeldt's new comedy, Friends with Kids. Westfeldt stars alongside Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Chris O'Dowd, Maya Rudolph(all Bridesmaids alums), Adam Scott, Megan Fox, and Edward Burns. What kind of deal with the devil do you have to strike to get talent like that?
Less than a week after we received the impressive first trailer, a new poster has been released and it wisely shows off the film's starpower. Westfeldt and Scott play the last remaining singles amongst all their married friends. After seeing how kids changed everyone else, the two decide to have a child together but keep dating other people. With the poster's tagline stating "Family doesn't always go according to plan", I'm assuming somebody's going to have a change of heart.
Friends with Kids will open on a limited basis on March 9th, but it's bound to be Westfeldt's biggest hit.
