It's been a busy few months for Spanish filmmaker, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, scoring one major franchise relaunch in Highlander, but skipping out on another in The Crow. While all this was going on, he was also prepping Intruders, his return to horror for the first time since 2007's 28 Weeks Later.
The latest trailer for the film has been released, following a pair of girls from different countries, terrorized by an evil spirit known as Hollow Face. Clive Owen plays John Harrow, who tries to protect his daughter and save his family from Hollow Face's assault.
Can someone tell me why they didn't name this movie Hollow Face? Intruders is a terrible title. Anyway, this is the most effective trailer by far, going more for scares than just setting the ominous mood. Daniel Bruhl(Inglourious Basterds), Kerry Fox(Bright Star), and Ella Purnell(Never Let Me Go) co-star. Intruders is set to open in theaters on March 30th....
