Trailer Time: 'Salmon Fishing in the Yemen', starring Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt

The second trailer for CBS Films' Salmon Fishing in the Yemen could more correctly be called a "featurette", featuring the stars talking about the making of their quirky romance and the true story that inspired it. The first domestic trailer released at the end of last year showed a ton of promise, with director Lasse Hallstrom looking to have found his stride after a couple of mediocre diversions in Dear John and Hachiko: A Dog's Story.

The always likable Emily Blunt and the suddenly red hot Ewan McGregor make great music together as a sheik's aid and a fisheries scientist respectively, charged with finding a way to bring salmon fishing to the desert highlands of Yemen. Kristen Stewart brings her snooty, upper class wit to the table as a press secretary for the British Prime Minister, looking to take political advantage of the buzzworthy story. It looks a touch light and airy, but it's hard to go wrong with Blunt when she's in her romantic comedy element, and I like that there's something of a dreamlike quality to it all.

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen opens on March 9th, but if you're dying for some McGregor action you can find him currently getting his butt kicked in Haywire, or dishing out punishment in The Phantom Menace 3D....
