Marking the directorial debut of writer Christopher Storer, the film has Wilde starring as the anxiety riddled Barrett, who meets and becomes friends with the agoraphobic George, played by Sudeikis. Since neither has the courage to actually leave their homes, any chance at a courtship is limited to phone calls in which they discuss how great a romance they might have. Brie Larson(21 Jump Street, The United States of Tara) will play Barrett's sister, with Fred Armisen(Portlandia) as George's best friend and only contact with the outside world.
I'm not a big fan of Armisen, but the rest of the cast, especially Larson, give me some hope for something better than the plot sounds. [Deadline]
