A new clip from The Hunger Games has been released, and unlike the others we've seen up to this point, it provides a glimpse at what motivates the ruling Capitol. Despite the glitzy, showbiz atmosphere that surrounds the brutal annual event, President Snow(Donald Sutherland) makes it clear to Head Gamemaker Seneca Crane(Wes Bentley) that he has an ulterior, sinister motive.
Directed by Gary Ross and based on the wildly popular novels by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games is the first part of a planned trilogy starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, and Elizabeth Banks.
