Already with Ben Affleck, Justin Timberlake, Oliver Cooper, and Anthony Mackie, the online gambling drama Runner Runner is about to get even better and a whole lot sexier. Variety reports that Gemma Arterton(Tamara Drewe) is the latest to join the film, to be directed by Brad Furman(The Lincoln Lawyer).
Based on a script by David Levien and Brian Koppelman(Rounders), the story has Timberlake as a Princeton student who loses his tuition playing online poker, but ends up the right hand man of the site's corrupt boss, portrayed by Affleck. Arterton will play Timberlake's love interest.
Arterton was last seen in Tarsem Singh's Immortals, and is probably best remembered for getting drowned in oil as Strawberry Fields in Quantum of Solace. Filming on Runner Runner is set to begin next month.
