New international 'Looper' trailer, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis

For obvious reasons, the hype surrounding Looper has been kept relatively quiet, except for fans of writer/director Rian Johnson(Brick, The Brothers Bloom). With the summer months dominated by comic book movies and huge spectacles, Looper may be the perfect film to bridge the gap until the awards contenders start rolling in.

We're going to be treated to two trailers for Johnson's science fiction, time travel flick this week. The domestic one emerges tomorrow, but today we have an awesome international version, chock full of new footage and a look that surpasses some of the more expensive films we're currently seeing this season.  Set in a future where time travel has been perfected but declared illegal, the mob uses it to send targets back into the present, where they are then killed by men known as "loopers". Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays one of these loopers, but he himself gets thrown for a loop when his next target is an older version of himself, played by Bruce Willis.

It looks incredible, and with Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels as part of the cast, Looper remains one of the most anticipated events of the year. Check out the trailer below....[MSN]
