Trailer Time: 'The Expendables 2', starring Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis

The feel good romantic comedy event of the year won't come courtesy of Nicholas Sparks, but by Sylvester Stallone. The Expendables 2 is the heartwarming coming-of-old age story about a group of insecure men, who compensate for their inadequacy with big muscles, bigger guns, and smaller words. Let's face it, The Expendables, for all the hype and bluster from Stallone about how awesome it would be, was really just a stinking pile of disappointment. Want to know how you can screw up something simple as bringing together every prominent action hero of the last twenty years for one big blow out? Then watch The Expendables again for an abject lesson.

Stallone has promised us bigger and better for the sequel, and he's certainly delivered when it comes to adding even more wrinkly faces into the mix. Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger have expanded their roles, while Jean Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris could make this an old fogey battle royale for the ages. The latest trailer is really more of a TV spot as it's only about a minute long, and still it finds a way to cram in a fairly obvious Terminator gag. This is basically a sizzle reel and a roll call of the impressive cast, but it's still a lot of mind numbing fun.

The Expendables 2 explodes into theaters on August 17th...
