New clip from '2 Days in New York', starring Julie Delpy and Chris Rock

With Woody Allen's To Rome With Love sinking like a stone, it's good to know that Julie Delpy is around to show the old guy how it's done. Her upcoming film, 2 Days in New York, looks like the sort of neurotic, insightful, romantic comedy that Allen would have made thirty years ago. A sequel to her indie hit, 2 Days in Paris, this time we see the ever-exasperated Marion(Delpy) with her new lover, Mingus(Chris Rock), living in New York and having a fairly cozy relationship until her boisterous family comes into town to ruin things. We've seen plenty of clips from the film already, but now here's one more that shows just how bad things get over the course of a contentious weekend.

The latest uncomfortable but hilarious bit of cross-culture turmoil has Mingus, who has his own radio show, offered the chance to attend a Barack Obama press conference. When Marion's family here's this, her sister starts plugging away at Mingus' politics. Her father decides to be insulting the old fashioned way, by making some vaguely racist identity miscues. Kal Penn, really?  2 Days in New York is now available On Demand and will hit theaters on August 10th....
