As if the green band trailer for Martin McDonagh's Seven Psychopaths wasn't crazy enough, they're quickly following it up with a red band that takes it to a whole other level. A follow-up to McDonagh's pitch black hitman flick, In Bruges, the film stars Colin Farrell as a struggling writer who lets his friends drag him into a dog-knapping scheme involving the beloved Shih Tzu of an insane gangster.
Farrell seems to be at his most inspired when paired up with McDonagh's rapid fire, profane dialogue. This one doesn't show off the entire ensemble as well as the previous trailer, but if that scene between a menacing Woody Harrelson and poor Gabourey Sidibe isn't pure gold I don't know what is. Seven Psychopaths also stars Olga Kurylenko, Tom Waits, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, and Abbie Cornish, with a release set for October 12th....
