Ok, so MGM and Sony are deluging us with clips from Skyfall right now, but they really aren't revealing all that much. Mostly what we've seen has been extended footage from the train sequence, but this new one offers something a little different.
There's still a train involved in this clip, but it turns up in a pretty awesome way. Basically we've got Bond looking as if he's walked into a trap set by Silva(Javier Bardem), and almost gets his ass lit up by a well-time subway car. It's good to see a little more of Bardem, although I have to say his demented routine doesn't come off as scary. It's more comical than anything else. Perhaps it's just me remembering how menacing he was in No Country for Old Men, and how much cooler this showdown would be if he were still that cold.
Anyway, Skyfall is getting almost universal acclaim from across the pond, but we have to wait until November 9th.....
