It's happening right now, folks. The world premiere of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is taking place in New Zealand as we speak, and since you're reading this I presume you aren't watching the live broadcast right here. Shame on you! The production of the film was an arduous journey in and of itself, so it's understandable that Warner Bros. and MGM wanted to celebrate the occasion a little bit.
The first official clip from the film has been released, along with a handful of new photos and a couple of posters. The clip is brief but cool, as Gandalf(Ian McKellen) gives Bilbo(Martin Freeman) a nifty little gift, an elvish sword we all know as 'Sting'.
