New 'Iron Man 3' Japanese trailer has some new footage
"Heroes, there is no such thing". I love that line delivered by Ben Kingsley in Iron Man 3, playing Tony Stark's nemesis the Mandarain. It sums up the villain's worldview neatly and clearly, and presents him as a threat not only to Iron Man, but the rest of The Avengers if Marvel was inclined to go that route. We hear it delivered in the new Japanese trailer for the film, which is shorter but packs an equally mighty punch.
There are a few bits of new footage here, but mostly the emphasis is on Stark and Pepper Potts' relationship, and their attempt to survive an attack that destroys their coastal home. We also get another shot of the star-spangled War Machine in the Iron Patriot armor. Of all things I'm most curious to see what direction that goes, and whether the new look is part of changes implemented by the government in the wake of New York's destruction.
Directed by Shane Black and starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley, Rebeccah Hall, and Guy Pearce, Iron Man 3 opens on May 3rd 2013....[Empire]
