Remember The Bling Ring? Sofia Coppola's next effort came out of the gate early this year with a lot of hype, mainly thanks to the presence of Emma Watson, and a steady stream of celebrities showing up on set for cameos. We haven't seen much from it since the first official image dropped back in May, but it looks like we're going to start getting more real soon.
A pair of new shots have been released in the latest issue of Premiere Magazine(via ThePlaylist), and they show Watson possibly trying on something her character may have just stolen. The film is based on the true story of the Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch aka The Bling Ring, a bunch of celebrity-obsessed youngsters who robbed the homes of famous people, amounting to millions of dollars worth of stolen property. Paris Hilton, one of the group's victims, makes a cameo in the film, along with Kirsten Dunst and Gavin Rossdale. Outside of Leslie Mann(Knocked Up) and Taissa Farmiga(American Horror Story, Higher Ground), the rest of the cast is made up mostly of unknowns including Georgia Rock, Israel Broussard, and Claire Julien(Wally Pfister's daughter).
A June 2013 release date has been set, but it's unclear if that's just in France. Either way, we can probably expect to see The Bling Ring around that time, or maybe hitting some of the festivals along the way.
