So, after a 9 month release date push and some considerable re-shoots we have a "new" trailer for GI Joe: Retaliation. Why the quotes you ask? Well, as you will see when you watch it we get very little new footage, most noticeably very little Channing Tatum. The whole reason for the re-shoots was, apparently, to add Duke back into the story line While we do see new scenes with Duke in this trailer they really don't amount to much, judging from what we see it seems these scenes take place either before the initial assault on the Joes or before the final battle. I'm really hoping they didn't do all of this just to add Tatum in as a "Hey guys you thought I was dead, now I'm back!" moment prior to the film's climax.
That being said I still think everything about this trailer, except for the whole Bruce Willis "I'm too old for this shit" angle, is exceptionally bad ass. Hell, the first movie was every bit of awesome if you just take out the accelerator suits. I did really like Tatum as Duke so I hope they managed to resurrect him in a manner that works.
