It was more than a little disappointing to learn that Clive Owen wouldn't be returning for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. That disappointment was only tempered by the addition of Josh Brolin, playing an earlier version of the Dwight character before his face underwent radical reconstruction. With production on the long-awaited sequel underway, Robert Rodriguez has begun tweeting images from the set, including one that shows exactly how Brolin will appear in the film's stylized greyscale.
Rodriguez makes clear this is just a touch up from the green screen, and it may appear differently in the final cut. Brolin's certainly got Dwight's intense stare down pat. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens on October 4th, starring Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert,Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Stacy Keach, Eva Green and Julia Garner.
