We're only a month away before Star Trek Into Darkness flies into theaters, and Paramount has been ramping up the hype for it accordingly. Between all of the posters and sneak peeks, more of the film is being revealed than ever before. But one also has to remember that this is a J.J. Abrams joint, and we're only seeing exactly what he wants us to see.
What's expected to be the final trailer for the film is here, and it shows a lot without giving anything away. The exception may be the destruction of the Enterprise, and even that could be left open for interpretation. Benedict Cumberbatch still looks like a prime choice to be the villain leading Kirk (Chris Pine) and his crew into the darkest chapter of their lives.
Starring Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, John Cho, Alice Eve, Anton Yelchin, Bruce Greenwood, and Peter Weller, Star Trek Into Darkness opens in IMAX 3D on May 15th, then in 2D and 3D on May 17th.
