You've heard me singing the praises of James Ponsoldt's The Spectacular Now for months, so I probably don't need to do it again. The film stars Shailene Woodley and Miles Teller, and with echoes of the great works of John Hughes depicts with heart and humor a tale of young love. It's my favorite movie of the year, so of course I'd like to give you a chance to see it early by attending a free advance screening held on Wednesday August 7th at 7pm at Landmark E Street in Washington, DC.
