After scoring his greatest critical success with last year's terrific cop thriller End of Watch, David Ayer is heading to WWII for his follow-up, the tank thriller Fury. Starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena, Logan Lerman, and Jon Bernthal, the film is set in 1945 and follows an five-man American tank crew caught behind enemy lines in Nazi Germany.
Ayer has tweeted the first image from the film, and it's clearly a behind-the-scenes shot of the cast aboard the titular tank. Pitt plays the awesomely-named Sgt. Wardaddy; Lerman is the military typist Norman Ellison; with Pena as their drunk tank driver.
Fury steamrolls into theaters on November 14th 2014.
