New Trailer for 'Snowpiercer' Starring Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton

The jury's out on whether Harvey Weinstein is going to slice 'n dice Bong Joon-ho's sci-fi epic, Snowpiercer, but in the meantime the film is gearing up to roll into theaters. Not here, unfortunately, as it has yet to gain a U.S. release date. Instead it will open in France next month after previously opening in Joon-ho's native South Korea. And as the release nears, a new trailer has been released that offers up the richest look yet.

Assembling a top-notch cast of Chris Evans, Alison Pill, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Ewen Bremner, Song Kang-ho, John Hurt, Ed Harris, and Octavia Spencer, the film is set in a future when humanity has been wiped out by a failed attempt to end global warming. The few who remain travel the frozen world in a perpetually-moving train until a class system begins to emerge and rebellion grows. The footage suggests an action-packed, high-concept thriller, but who knows if we'll get Joon-ho's original vision or a watered down version.
