Rosario Dawson Joins 'Incarnate'; Walton Goggins In 'Mojave'; 'Poltergeist' Adds Jane Adams

 * Blumhouse Productions has had no trouble finding big stars for their micro-budgeted horrors, and the latest to join the family is Rosario Dawson. She'll star in Brad Peyton's exorcism thriller Incarnate, which recently cast Aaron Eckhart in the lead role. The film centers on “an unconventional exorcist who can tap into the subconscious of the possessed who meets his match when a 9-year-old boy is possessed by a demon from his past”. [THR]

* Walton Goggins (Justified) is joining Oscar Isaac and Garrett Hedlund in Mojave, the latest thriller from writer/director William Monahan. His role is unclear at this point, but Goggins is best when he's a bad guy putting the screws to somebody, so hopefully there will be some room for that. Hedlund stars as a suicidal artist lost in the desert who meets his doppelganger, a brilliant homicidal drifter played by Isaac.

* Gil Kenan's Poltergeist remake continues to shape out its cast, adding one of my favorite character actresses and someone else I've never heard of. Jane Adams, who I loved on Hung and in The Anniversary Party, has come aboard the horror film that already stars Rosemarie DeWitt, Sam Rockwell, and Jared Harris. Also joining Saxon Sharbino (Touch) as the 16-year old daughter of the terrorized family. Adams will play "a parapsychologist called in to help the family find their daughter and identify the supernatural forces at work in their home." [THR]
