Two Clips from 'The Counselor' Feature Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, and Cameron Diaz

One highly-anticipated film that we won't get an early festival look at is Ridley Scott's The Counselor, his pulpy new thriller starring Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, and Cameron Diaz. Fortunately we've been treated to a number of clips to whet our appetites for next month's release, and now we've got two more that shine a spotlight on the film's incredible star wattage.

Fassbender plays a lawyer who gets in over his head in a drug scheme, and suddenly is surrounded by a number of unsavory figures. One of those would be Pitt's character, and in this brief clip we see him dispensing some words of caution to Fassbender, even throwing in a Body Heat reference for good measure. If the ladies loved the chance to see Pitt and Fassbender together in one place, then the next scene is definitely for the dudes. It features Diaz and Cruz showing a lot of skin and sharing what is a very sexually-charged moment. Let's just say my interest has been piqued considerably.

The Counselor hits theaters October 25th.
