Greg McLeans' outback horror
Wolf Creek didn't exactly break the bank at the box office, but it terrified enough people that it became a cult favorite. Pretty quickly, too, likely helped by a scathing review by Roger Ebert where he complained about the senseless violence. Some audiences dig that sort of brutality, and over the last decade those folks were vocal enough that McLean has come back with a sequel.
A new U.S. trailer for
Wolf Creek 2 takes back into the Australian badlands, with John Jarrat back as the infamous killer of lost backpackers, Mick Taylor. He's found a whole new unfortunate group to terrorize this time, and basically this looks like more of that senseless violence fans of the genre crave.
Wolf Creek 2 has yet to gain a release date but is expected later this year.
