Legendary actor Robert Duvall isn't missing a beat, even at the ripe old age of 84. Not only is he coming off an Oscar nomination for The Judge, but he's about to release a new film, Wild Horses, his first directorial effort since 2002's Assassination Tango.
Duvall pulls triple duty as writer, director, and star of the Texas crime drama which co-stars Josh Hartnett, James Franco, Adriana Barraza (Cake), Jim Parrack, and Duvall's wife Luciana. Duvall plays a Texas Ranger who re-opens a can of worms when he's compelled to investigate a 15-year-old missing persons case. Neither Hartnett or Franco really fit in this dusty atmosphere but Duvall is right where he belongs.
Wild Horses hits theaters and VOD on June 5th.
