Jamie Foxx to Star in Noam Murro's Crime Thriller, 'Blink'

Last summer Noam Murro made a lucrative leap to blockbusters with 300: Rise of an Empire, a sequel nobody really asked for but still managed to earn $330M. That buys a ton of opportunities, and a couple of months ago he signed up to direct Blink, a crime thriller featuring a Black List script by Hernany Perla. Now the film has landed an A-list star with Jamie Foxx joining the cast.

Foxx, who last starred in the Annie remake everyone apparently hated, will star in Blink playing a hospital caregiver whose patient was the victim of a bank robbery. As the two get closer, it becomes clear Foxx's character has an ulterior motive.

There's been talk, mostly by Foxx, that Martin Scorsese would be directing him in a Mike Tyson biopic, but there's no word on when, or if, that will take place.
