Are you missing HBO's Eastbound & Down? You could always go check out director Jody Hill and Danny McBride's other collaborations like The Foot Fist Way (you should, anyway) and Observe and Report (you can maybe skip this one), or you wait for their next project which is gearing up now.
According to Deadline, Hill and McBride are developing The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter, with Josh Brolin set to star. McBride will take a role opposite Brolin while co-writing the screenplay with John Carcieri and Hill, who will also be directing. So what should we take from that overlong and oddly specific title? No clue since the plot is being kept under wraps for now.This one is set to shoot in the fall and hopefully we'll have more details before long.
