We've still got more than a year to wait for Marvel's Doctor Strange movie, and with the studio skipping out on Comic-Con we probably won't be receiving any updates for awhile. Fortunately, it's times like this when extremely talented fans often step in to fill the void with their own posters, trailers, and in this case, opening credits sequences. Alex Silver of This Is Productions has created an amazing, totally psychedelic opening credits sequence for Doctor Strange that takes us through the character's journey on the comics page.
Using a combination of comic book splash pages, some pinpoint animation, and clever use of The Flaming Lips’ “W.A.N.D.”, this video is probably going to hold up extremely well compared to whatever Marvel ultimately goes with.
Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, opening November 4th 2016.
