Reese Witherspoon is definitely moving on by producing and possible starring in Opening Belle, a Wall Street comedy based on the upcoming book by Maureen Sherry Klinsky. Loosely based on Klinsky's personal story, the film is set in 2007 and follows a mother juggling a career on Wall Street with the raising of three children while the financial crisis looms. [Variety]
Linda Cardellini, last seen as Jeremy Renner's wife in Avengers: Age of Ultron, will now play Michael Keaton's spouse in The Founder. Directed by John Lee Hancock (Saving Mr. Banks), the film stars Keaton as Ray Croc, who took transformed McDonalds from a small regional restaurant into a global franchise. Cardellini will play Croc's third wife while Laura Dern is set to play his first. [Variety]
Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck) has joined Jason Clarke and Blake Lively in All I See is You, a psychological drama directed by World War Z's Marc Forster. Lively plays a blind woman who begins to uncover previously unseen and disturbing details about herself and her husband upon restoration of her eyesight. Strahovski will play Lively's best friend, with filming already underway.
