With Comic-Con right around the corner and no Marvel in sight, it's up to Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder to put up or shut up when it comes to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The follow-up to Man of Steel will pit Henry Cavill's superhero against Ben Affleck's "Dark Knight", and fans are eager to see how Affleck takes on the role following Christian Bale's memorable performances. “We accept that he’s played by actors with different interpretations....He’s at the end of his run and maybe the end of his life. There’s this sort of world-weariness to it…He’s on the verge of being swallowed up by the anger and the rage that we see haunt this character in the other manifestations of it, but this guy is further down the line and has become more embittered and cynical.”
Newly-released images provide a look at Affleck as both Batman and his civilian identity of Bruce Wayne, who is very familiar with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) aka Wonder Woman. We're also given a look at Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and another look at some of the hero worship Superman will have to endure.
