Prior to 20th Century Fox's anticipated panel at Comic-Con where it's expected we'll see footage from X-Men: Apocalypse and learn more about the future of the X-Men franchise, the studio has revealed a new image from Deadpool, starring Ryan Reynolds. There's a reasonable expectation that some kind of footage, maybe even a full trailer, will be revealed to the Hall H crowd.
The long-awaited film is directed by Tim Miller and is promised to be R-rated just as any proper Merc-with-a-Mouth story should be. While the details of that story are still somewhat unclear, we know it will go into his origin as a Special Forces agent diagnosed with cancer who undergoes a rogue experiment that leaves him with an incredible healing factor and a scarred body.
