With Comic-Con literally days away, one of the expectations for Warner Bros.' presentation is a reveal of the entire Justice League. That would obviously include Green Lantern, who is set to get his own solo movie, or some kind of Green Lantern Corp film, down the line. At this point the top contender for the role of Hal Jordan has been Chris Pine, but he's also been attached to play Wonder Woman's love interest, Steve Trevor. So which one is it? Whatever Pine decides, apparently.
According to Birth.Movies.Death, Pine is up for both roles but hasn't agreed to anything yet. So it seems to be up to him to choose, but the site says he is "definitely leaning towards Green Lantern". The studio really wants him to make a decision in time for Comic-Con, which means he's got a few days left still.
And if you're wondering how Warner Bros. could be so willing to let an actor basically choose his role, just remember they let Dwayne Johnson do the same thing with Shazam, and he decided to play the villain Black Adam.
