Back in May with only a few days before filming, Henry Cavill departed the action film Stratton, which he had also been developing. But now a new star has been found and it's none other than Dominic Cooper, who many will know as Howard Stark in the Marvel Universe.
The film is based on the series of novels by Duncan Falconer and center on John Stratton, a British Special Forces operative tasked with stopping a terrorist cell. The film will be directed by Simon West (Con Air) and the supporting cast includes Austin Stowell (Whiplash), Tom Felton (the Harry Potter films), Gemma Chan (“Humans”), Tyler Hoechlin (“Teen Wolf”), Thomas Kretschmann (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Derek Jacobi (The King’s Speech), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Jake Fairbrother (Skyfall).
With a star in place, Stratton will now commence filming later this month.
