Marvel's Ant-Man officially hits theaters this month, bringing to an end what has been a long, rocky production. While we know what the future holds for Ant-Man; he'll turn up in Captain America: Civil War; the other characters in the film are less certain. One in particular that fans are expecting a lot from is Evangeline Lilly's Hope Van Dyne, who many expect will become the Wasp at some point. When recently asked about it, all Marvel's Kevin Feige would say is "We have plans for her in the future, and we see that not-so-subtly in this film."
And perhaps we see some of the foundations of her superhero future being set in this new clip, in which Hope shows her toughness by decking Scott Lang (Rudd) in the face. Clearly, she's a woman who knows how to defend herself and could probably kick Ant-Man's butt in a fight. Could we see her possibly joining the Avengers at some point?
Ant-Man hits theaters on July 17th.
