It looks like superheroes are going to be a big part of the Tatums' lives for the foreseeable future. Just days after her husband Channing inked his deal to play Gambit for 20th Century Fox, his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum has landed a recurring role in CBS' Supergirl series as Lucy Lane.
Tatum will take the role of Lois Lane's younger and equally successful sister. She'll have some kind of romantic past with Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) and is coming to town to right a wrong. Whether this leads to a love triangle between her, Olsen, and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is unclear. In the comics, Lane was one of the characters that took on the identity of Superwoman for a time, although her stint as the superhero was erased with The New 52 continuity.
Lucy Lane will make her first appearance in the third episode of Supergirl, which debuts this October.
