Creepy New Trailer for Sundance Horror 'The Hallow'

At this point who knows if a remake of The Crow will ever get off the ground. Maybe not. Even if that ends up being the case, rising star director Corin Hardy should be okay because his debut feature The Hallow has been terrifying audiences on the festival circuit since Sundance.

Another creepy trailer for the film has arrived, and there are some who are saying it could be this year's The Babadook. That's awfully high praise considering the near universal acclaim of that surprise horror, and early reviews out of Sundance weren't quite that good. Also, there doesn't appear to be the same depth of psychological tension at play here, so perhaps those comparisons are unjustified. The Hallow stars Joseph Mawle, Bojana Novakovic, Michael Smiley, and Michael McElhatton, and centers on a conservationist in rural Ireland sent to survey a forest many believe is haunted by evil spirits and monstrous creatures.

The Hallow opens November 6th. Check out the trailer plus a clip below.
