Free Advance Screening of 'He Named Me Malala'

We're happy to offer our readers a chance to attend a very special screening of He Named Me Malala, the acclaimed documentary from Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth) on the youngest Nobel Prize laureate ever, Malala Yousafzai. At the age of 15, Malala was targeted by the Taliban for her advocacy of girls' education, suffering a nearly fatal gunshot wound. She survived and continues to fight so that women the world over have the same rights to an education as their male counterparts.

The screening takes place on Monday, October 5th at 7:30pm at Landmark E Street. If you'd like to attend and see this incredible film, simply go to the Fox Searchlight site here and download one Admit-Two pass. Be sure to spread the word! Remember that having passes does not guarantee entry and you'll want to arrive at the theater early to ensure receiving a seat.

He Named Me Malala opens in DC on October 9th.
