With every new Batman franchise there must come with it a new Batmobile. Change the guy in the suit, change his favorite ride. It's all part of the package, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is no different. But in this case the new Batmobile is clearly taking its cues from the Bat-Tumbler used in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, which isn't such a bad thing because it was pretty cool.
Warner Bros. has officially revealed a new image of the Batmobile, along with a handful of looks at Gal Gadot as Diane Prince/Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, a dour Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne and Jeremy Irons as Alfred. These images were first shown in the pages of Empire Magazine a couple of months ago, but these are much cleaner high-res versions so check 'em out. Here's the synopsis:
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25th 2016.
