Michelle Rodriguez and Sigourney Weaver to Star in Walter Hill's 'Tomboy: A Revenger's Tale'

Two of the big screen's toughest ladies are about to team up for a film by an action-genre legend, and we're all going to be better off for it. Fast & Furious' Michelle Rodriguez and Ripley herself, Sigourney Weaver, are set to star in Tomboy: A Revenger's Tale, from The Warriors director, Walter Hill.

The gender-swapping thriller was also written by Hill and he's come up with something truly wild. The story centers on a top assassin who is double-crossed by gangsters and put under the knife of a surgeon who turns him into a woman. No longer a hit-man but a  hit-woman, the assassin sets out for revenge with the help of a nurse with her own secrets.

Hill last director the Sylvester Stallone action flick Bullet to the Head, which was as dumb as the title suggests. With Rodriguez and Weaver on board this one perhaps he can get his legendary career back on track. [THR]
