Maybe it's the arrival of Halloween right around the corner, but this new teaser for The X-Files is a bit creepier than the others. Scully (Gillian Anderson) is once again calling on her old partner Mulder (David Duchovny) for help cracking a case, and she knows just how to get him interested...
"It has a monster in it."
Count him in. While the first episode is apparently about an alien abductee, the season looks to be made up of all sorts of horror and supernatural elements, mixing standalone episodes with story arcs just like the classic series that ran for nine seasons. People love watching these two dig around in dusty basements while wasting flashlight batteries, so the fans should be happy because that's exactly what this teaser promises.
The X-Files returns to Fox on January 24th.
