New 'Suicide Squad' Images Feature Best Look Yet at Cara Delevingne's Enchantress

Warner Bros. is rolling out so many promos for Suicide Squad it's tough to tell which film will come first; it or Batman v Superman? And now they're dropping some more as Empire has new covers featuring Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, Will Smith's Deadshot, Jared Leto's Joker, and Cara Delevingne's Enchantress.

While we've seen plenty of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and arguably too much of Joker already, Enchantress has largely been kept under wraps. This provides the best look at Delevingne in the role of the magical supervillain, and she even has a few words about to what to expect from the villainous sorceress who takes over the body of hapless human June Moon.

"She's an ancient sorceress. A feral being. She's been trapped for so long and now she's finally let out. June is an adventure-seeker who's always wanted some excitement. And she gets what she wished for, in an terrible way."

Meanwhile, director David Ayer revealed the extent of Harley Quinn's storyarc in the film, and it has to do with her relationship to the Joker, or more accurately breaking away from it...

"It’s about her breaking free of The Joker and becoming this fully actualised, independent person. That really is a metaphor for everyone’s journey here."

Suicide Squad opens August 5th.
