Two Trailers for Michael Bay's Benghazi Farce, '13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi'

Hillary Clinton may have endured 11 hours of meaningless questioning about Benghazi just a few days ago, but that doesn't mean the subject is going away. With the Presidential election going on it's going to continue as a hot-button issue political football for quite some time, and that Michael Bay has a film about the attack on the way promises to keep it in the spotlight.

Two new trailers have been released for 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, including one red band version. And this thing...well, let's just say it's going to be an action movie and facts be damned. Bay has said it deals with the "stand down order", a long debunked claim that CIA agents were told not to help the ambassador as the attack was taking place. So it may be a good idea to take everything Bay and screenwriter Chuck Hogan are selling with a healthy dose of salt. Bay is the same guy who gave us Pearl Harbor; nuance ain't really his bag, baby.

Starring John Krasinski, James Badge Dale, Pablo Schreiber, and Max Martini, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi opens January 15th.
