'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Posters Feature Oscar Isaac and John Boyega

It's possible that Lucasfilm and J.J. Abrams are engaged in a bit of misdirection when it comes to the characters of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. So much attention has been put on the young heroes like Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega), along with the apparent villain Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), that Oscar Isaac's resistance pilot Poe Dameron has been mostly ignored, which could be because he's far more important than we've been led to believe.

The most recent promo for the film is a character poster featuring Dameron, giving the character some much-needed love. The image was revealed via the official Star Wars Twitter with the caption "Black Leader: standing by", appropriate since Dameron is described by Isaac as "the best freaking pilot in the galaxy".

There's also a new motion poster featuring Finn and his blue lightsaber, the one we know he'll battle Kylo Ren with. We still don't know if Finn will become a Jedi or if he's Force sensitive, but it certainly seems like it.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens December 18th. How excited are you?
