Sinful NSFW Trailer For 'Nerdland' Featuring Paul Rudd And Patton Oswalt

First announced at last year's NYCC, the R-rated animated comedy Nerdland promised to deliver a lot of nudity, sex, and drug use. Oh, and let's not forget violence. Considering it hails from Titmouse, the production company behind many of Adult Swim's most popular mature-themed cartoons, this surprised absolutely nobody. And now with the film set to have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival next month, a NSFW trailer has debuted which has all of those things the MPAA hates and then some. There's a reason the footage is rated "Intoxicated".

Featuring the voices of Patton Oswalt, Paul Rudd, Hannibal Buress, Molly Shannon, Mike Judge, Kate Micucci, Riki Lindhome,  Jackson Publick, Reid Scott, and Brendon Small, the story centers on two dim-witted best buds desperate to make it big in Hollywood.  The film is directed by Chris Prynoski (Metalocalypse) but most intriguing is the screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker, who wrote David Fincher's Se7en and a number of other dark flicks. Here's the official synopsis:

"Aspiring actor John (Paul Rudd) and would-be screenwriter Elliot (Patton Oswalt) are two LA dudes approaching their 30th birthdays without yet becoming the megawatt superstars they know they were meant to be. In a town built on who you know (and who knows you), the ambitious duo will set out on an all-day journey through their all-star rolodexes to make it big by the end of the night."

Nerdland premieres at Tribeca on April 14th.
