Teaser For Adam Sandler's Next Netflix Comedy, 'The Do-Over'

It may come as a shock to you to that Netflix so readily touts Adam Sandler's The Ridiculous 6 in the teaser for the actor's next film, The Do-Over, considering it was pretty God damned terrible and ended up on a lot of "worst lists" last year. All of that may be true, but the streaming service also says it was one of their most watched films during its first month of release. Curious on-lookers expecting and receiving a comedic trainwreck? Maybe, but it's also a testament to the strength of Sandler's brand, which is why Netflix signed that exclusive four picture deal with him in the first place.

And so now here's a brief glimpse at The Do-Over, which as you might expect looks really stupid, too. Sandler stars alongside David Spade (enough reason for me to beg off this one), Paula Patton, Luis Guzman, Sean Astin, Kathryn Hahn, and the usual cast of Sandler misfits in the story of old friends who reunite at a high school reunion and decide to fake their own deaths to live a more adventurous life the second time around.

Steven Brill, director of Little Nicky and Mr. Deeds, is at the helm of The Do-Over which hits Netflix on May 27th.
