'Justice League' Adds 'Game Of Thrones' Actor Kristofer Hivju

When he's not busy lusting over Brienne of Tarth  as wildling badass Tormund Giantsbane on HBO's Game of Thrones, Norwegian actor Kristofer Hivju is building a pretty solid big screen resume here in America. Not only does he have a small role in Fast 8 as a henchman working alongside Charlize Theron, but now he's landed a part in Zack Snyder's Justice League. Beware of potential SPOILERS beyond this point, folks.

According to IGN, Hivju will play an ancient Atlantean king in the superhero film, a follow-up to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Atlanteans will apparently be in possession of a Mother Box, the powerful cosmic artifacts that are expected to be central to the story. They won't be alone as the Amazonians will also have had a Mother Box in their control, with both realms hiding them away eons ago to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. The Mother Boxes are what will draw the villain Steppenwolf into the picture, and eventually Darkseid will come calling, although he's not likely to arrive in this film.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17th 2017, and you can find out more details about it here.
