Peter Dinklage Joins 'Three Christs', Julia Garner And Juno Temple Are 'One Percent More Humid'
Think Peter Dinklage's Tyrrion Lannister has a superiority complex on HBO's Game of Thrones? Wait until you see him in Three Christs, based on the true story of a doctor treating three patients who each believe they are Jesus Christ. Richard Gere stars in the film, which stars Richard Gere as Milton Rokeach, a doctor at the Ypsilanti State Hospital mental asylum. Dinklage plays one of his paranoid schizophrenic patients along with Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight) and Bradley Whitford (Transparent). Jon Avnet (Red Corner) is directing based on a script by Eric Nazarian adapted from Rokeach's biography. [TrackingBoard]
Two of my favorite actresses, Julia Garner and Juno Temple, are set to star in One Percent More Humid from writer/director Liz Garcia (The Lifeguard). The dramedy will also star Alessandro Nivola (The Neon Demon) and centers on two friends, Iris and Catherine, who reunite during a humid New England summer to help one another deal with the loss of a friend who died in an auto accident, one which they both survived. Garner and Temple worked together on Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Hopefully before filming begins they do something about that title.
